Πρακτικά,
η ενημέρωση-μέσω-Email λειτουργεί με αυτόματο τρόπο, προσαρμόζοντας ένα σύντομο τυποποιημένο email στο τέλος της κάθε εβδομάδας, με τη ροή των δημοσιεύσεων / αναρτήσεων όπως γίνεται και στο Twitter προφίλ του GRacademia. Στην περίπτωση των Emails όμως, δεν απαιτείται εγγραφή ή σύνδεση ή "follow" μέσω της πλατφόρμας του Twitter ή κάποιου Mastodon instance.
